Prior to founding Prajna Asia, Shiva was a lead consultant with JMW Consultants USA, responsible to delivering business transformation consulting, leadership development and executive Coaching to BP's (British Petroleum's) businesses in South Africa, India, Singapore and Australia, such as Castrol India, BP Supply and Trading Singapore, BP Supply and trading South Africa, BP Lubricants Singapore, BP Bulwer Refinery BrisbaneChina Aviation Oil.

As the CEO of Prajna he leads Sales & leadership development workshops to firms such as Cairn Energy, Bosch India Ltd, Volvo India, Titan India, Tektronix India, Praxair India Ltd, Schneider Electric India, Pearson Education, Acer India, HP India, ITC InfoTech.

Shiva started his career in Sales and business Development and has successfully managed business units of global organizations at the Pan Asia level. He has won accolades such as Best Sales Man, Sales Champion and Best Regional Manager during his tenure of working with firms like PCL, Comsat, Critical Path, and Network Solutions.

He is an Engineering graduate from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur India, a Post Graduate in Business Management from XLRI Jamshedpur and a Master of Science (MS) in Education Management. He is a Certified Sales Professional in Strategic Selling and Conceptual selling from Miller Heiman Institute USA. He is also a visiting faculty on Strategic Management, Leadership & Change Management, Coaching & Facilitation Skills at NMIMS and Symbiosis Institute of Management, Bangalore
