Develoment Centers

 

Prajna conducts Development Centres to prepare individuals in organsiations to take on new roles which demand a particular level of skiling. The skills for which the people are taken through the development center may range from Leadership skills to Mangerial skills to more specific functional skills like Sales and Service Excellence. The Development Centre would enhance participant’s competencies to perform better in his/her current role or take up a new role in a Organization.

 

Some of the Characteristics of our Development Centre are as follows :-

 
  All participants of the development center are taken through a detailed pre-event orientation program
  The development center is designed to developing the individual and just giving feeback on assessment.
  It focusses to address a longer term organisational need, such as success planning, depatmental movements, job rotations etc.
  Is largely used with internal candidates but some times used to prepare new hires for roles.
  Depending on the level of mastery in the development phase, a 1:1 ratio of assessor to participant is used.
  Internal Line managers are not normally used as nagers as assessors (possibly all external)
  The development center will lay emphasis on self assessment, focus on the Individual’s potential and not just capability
  Is geared to meet needs of the individuals as well as the organisation
  In the development center our assesors take the role of both a facilitator and a coachwhile assessing and developing .
  Every partcipant in our development center, is given feedback at the moment of performance and is also given a detailed feedback at the end of the development process.
